Learning Enhancement Tools and Activities (LETA)

Despite the high learning of each site and program, we made outbound education more exciting and relevant for students. And this is through the use of learning tools and new set of activities that will certainly and individual learning using different levels of intelligences from the bodily kinesthetic to the spatial.

Outbound Education trips may use one or more of the following LETAs depending on the site and program.

Construction Kits – Primary to secondary students will have the chance to build replicas of man-made structures to enable them to appreciate and identify the various facets of construction as well as the building parts.

Giant Puzzles – from pre-school to college students; participants will work on giant puzzles to highlight the activity. Students will be given puzzle pieces to complete the entire montage. Each picture puzzle is aligned to the academic or value formation anchor.

Simulation Props – theatrical props to help students experience the feel of authenticity during historical tours. Selected students will be given the opportunity to use these props to simulate a particular event or even re-enact a play during the Spanish period.

Enhanced Science Kits – updated science kits will be used for on-site field experimentation. However, the facilitators will also engage students on how to come up with tools for experimentation that can be found in their household, classroom or even on the site itself.

Enhanced Art & Musical Activities – art and musical activities will complement programs aligned to specific anchors.

Visual Aids – mostly for science-based anchors. Outbound Educators will show participants various visual aids before or after major activities to generate higher interest and validate observations. These materials are produced in-house to make sure that elements actually observed on-site reflect the images contained therein.

New Group Dynamics – new group dynamics are constantly being introduced to our participants for all levels to elicit maximum participation and to reinforce what has been learned in the course of each Outbound Education program.
